| I LOVE indian food and I'm also lazy, so needless to say I was darn excited when I saw that Rangoli is less than 3 miles from me and advertises delivery. Well, apparently, 3 miles is too many miles for Rangoli. They have a standard $15 minimum delivery fee, which is not standard, but hey, I really want Indian food so no problem. But then I called them up, told them where I lived (7 minutes by google directions) and even ordered. The gentleman then put me on hold and apparently had a 5 - 10 minute conversation with the management of the place. Turns out, 7 minutes is just too far a drive for Rangoli delivery. They dickered with me and explained that if I increased my order by enough, they would consider driving the 3 miles to my apartment, but but by then I'd had enough. I like Indian food, but I don't like poor service and I particularly don't like false advertising. I suggest you order from this place, but only if it's within walking distance « Hide |
