| It is hard to decide what was worse ie the decor or the food. The restaurant is located in a somewhat shady looking location in Mexican Town, Detroit. However, on a street comprised of unwelcoming looking places, it does stand out as being well built and looks somewhat new, with its own private parking lot. However, that's probably where the positives come to and end. The restaurant is subdivided into smoking and non-smoking. In the larger, non-smoking section, the stand out "feature" is the large wall behind a make-shift stage, that looks as if it is covered in a large garbage bag. The lighting is extraordinarily poor with a terrible glare coming off the windows. There is no evidence of temperature control, and the word "style" is nowhere in sight. The Mexican food is not bad, but one wonders if they hired a Guatemalan to cook for them. STAY AWAY from the Colombian food which is simply an embarrassment and leaves you feeling heavy and unwell afterward. There appears to be a number of mini-concerts and events that take place regularly here, and one gathers that they have a loyal following. This following may likely be made up of family members or people with no where else to go, as this place is pretty terrible otherwise. Overall, it is a disappointment and is probably only able to survive due to a lack of any serious competition. « Hide |

| The service when I went to the restaurant was extremely poor. They messed up the same order twice and were not apologetic at all. Also, their mexican food is not as good as the surrounding restaurants. If you're looking for good mexican and good service, go down the street. « Hide |
