| A friend of mine, recommended Paul to me. She kept going on and on about how great he was. I thought, Well, he might be good but not that good. So, last Tuesday I took a dress I needed altered down. Keep in mind, I hate to have things altered. I'm pretty tall and chunky, so getting clothes and getting them altered, to be frank, sucks. The tailor usually comments on my height or weight (what gives anyone that right, I'll never understand) and how hard it's going to be to alter them and how long it will take. So, I walk in and Paul greets me with a HUGE smile. He directs me to the dressing room and I get the dress on. I come out, bracing myself for any comments that are about to be said. And there were NONE. Paul was nothing but gracious and helpful the entire time. He told me exactly what he was going to do to make it fit just right. He even asked if I needed length off of the dress! Which has never ever happened!!! I proceed to dress and get my ticket to turn in when I needed to get the dress. He asked when I needed it and I told him the 16th. Paul said Okay, we'll make that for next Tuesday the 12th then. I've never been to a tailor who hasn't complained about what I need OR have them get it done EARLIER than I need!!!! And the icing on the cake is, that Paul is cheaper than ANYONE in this area. A friend took her dress to get altered at another shop and she paid $50 more dollars than I did and she got less done to her dress!!! I will recommend Paul and his staff to any and everyone I meet who needs alterations. His shop is the BEST!!!!! « Hide |
