| I visit the shop frequently for all my indian grocery shopping and indian movie rentals. The shop is a family business, run by Sapan, and his Dad, Mr. Vinod Goel - both very nice people. It is a one-stop shop where you can find pretty much everything - ranging from groceries to indian movies to snacks/sweets to food takeout and they do it all well. Some highlights of the shop: Easy to navigate the shop, no high isles that block your view. They carry all the indian cooking needs (Daal, wheat flour, indian snacks, tea, etc.). If something is not available, I have found success in requesting the item to Sapan and he started carrying it. Good selection of special vegetables that are common in Indian cooking, but you wouldn't always find at your American grocery store Indian movies of course (both North Indian and South Indian). Indian samosas and sweets Indian curries, breads, naans, rotis, paranthas, etc. (some frozen - heat and serve) A small indian food take-out in the back. The food is cooked by Sapan's Dad, who is famous in the area for his excellent cooking and one of the favorites for catering. Find freshly prepared Naans, curries, etc. There are one or two tables if you want to eat-in, but it is mostly geared to take-out and quick eating. They accept both cash and credit cards. « Hide |
