| I had my Wedding Reception dinner at Axis Cafe and had the most wonderful time. Service, food and ambiance was beyond expectations. I was a little unsure having my wedding dinner at Axis due to location, but in the long run it was for the better. It was nice having dinner on the outskrits of the City because there was less congestion and a little more quite than your typical SF resaturant on a busy Thursday night. Jennifer the event manager was great to work with, and they made sure they met my needs and fit the dinner within our budget. I highly recomend Axis Cafe! « Hide |

| Axis Cafe, http://www.mapplr.com/2008/10/23/san-francisco-lunch-favorites-axis-cafe/ a popular lunch and afternoon coffee spot in the Potrero Hill neigbhorhood, is an excellent place to have lunch in San Francisco not only because the patio in the back is perfect for those gorgeous warm San Francisco days when summer seems to linger forever, but also because the food is good, unpretentious and not expensive. So imagine my delight when I went to Axis this week and discovered that they have a sense of humor too when it comes to the menu. They had a $9 Recession Special: half sandwich, soup and small salad. You can choose from any of the sandwiches and soups. I had the tomato basil soup (which was very delicious) and the pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut; my lunch companion had the French onion soup and steak sandwich (he said both were excellent). « Hide |
