| We decided to go to the Lodge to hear a band Allie Gillis. When we first walked into the restaurant, it was smoked filled. The exhaust on the grill was not working- the room was filled with smoke and actually burnt your eyes. That did not stop the facilities from continuing to make grilled foods- It was horrible. We ordered wings and a pitcher of beer- their special for $9.99. We ordered a steak hoagie- $11.95- which was a half of a sandwich- pricey for a half of a sandwich that wasn't even very tasty. We then ordered another pitcher of beer-which we paid $11.50 for- yes you are correct- it would have been less expensive if we ordered the wings with the pitcher- how ridiculous is that!!! The acoustics were horrible. The band, which I hear other places, is very good but sounded as if you had a screaching noise piercing through your head due to the poor sound system. They have Banker's Club bottles of alcohal as their well drinks. I left with a very bad headache, a large bill from the little food we had, and our clothes smelled as if we were in a fire. STAY AWAY UNTIL THEY FIGURE OUT HOW TO HANDLE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND PRICE THEIR FOOD CORRECTLY « Hide |
