- a month ago We were visiting friends in Durham, and they insisted that we go to Fullsteam one evening. We did. We LOVED it. It was family friendly, pet friendly, has delicious, home-brewed beer and locally-grown food. Additionally, they sold half-pints at no additional markup so you could try all the beers. (We are from Baltimore - a bar in Baltimore would have charged more than half price for half pints). When I tell my friends where we went, they want to go... especially when we tell them about the complimentary massages we received the night we were there. WE WILL BE BACK!
- 4 months ago I would give this place 5 stars if not for one detail: not a fan of their beer. Like most breweries in America, their beer is a little too hoppy, a little too malty, not very subtle. I understand that's a matter of personal taste but I'd love to see a dry, well balanced (read 'not so hoppy') pilsner in their menu. Other than that I love it. Oh, and their dog policy sucks, I mean, I am a dog owner but I rather be able to eat at this place than bring my dog in, come on....
- 7 months ago Fullsteam is the best brewery in the world. Hands down. Sean is the man.
- 8 months ago This place needs a solid dark beer before they'll win over this beer snob.
- 9 months ago Best beer in North Carolina. All of the beers here are distinctly North Carolinian and incredibly delicious. Don't miss out on Fullsteam!
