To fix the location maker for a business that appears incorrectly in Google Maps, first follow the instructions to edit your listing in the Local Business Center. Then follow these steps:
- Click Fix incorrect marker location in the left panel.
- Drag and drop the marker at your preferred location. You can zoom in and out of the map and use the Satellite mode to get a better idea of the exact location of your business.
- Click Done. The preview map will be updated, and you can then complete your listing.
If you haven't previously verified that you're the owner of this business, you'll need to do so. Once the listing is verified, the updated information will appear in approximately 48 hours. If you've already verified your listing on Google Maps, and you'd like to move your marker, simply click the edit link next to your listing in the Local Business Center. You can then follow the steps above.
